We just finished a week of diving with DM Ben of Kitesurf Roatan and this has been an absolute outstanding experience! Ben is a fun, positive uplifting dive master with safety always on his mind but not to an extend where it was annoying! We did 12 dives with him over 6 days and he was very knowledgeable. We saw an abundance of sea life, formations, corals, dive throughs and it was always a relaxed mood! My husband and I were the only divers with him, so we got a real personalized experience! Ben helped us work on dialing in our buoyancy ina playful easy manner! He challenged us to try new things and showed us that we already had the skills to master them! Wilfred our boat captain was always helpful and friendly! On surface intervals we had good conversations and learned about the island! The tanks we used were well maintained and our equipment was safely stored in the dive shop throughout the week! Ben’s love and enthusiasm for diving and learning is engaging and we would definitely dive with Kitesurf Roatan again!

We made amazing memories during a week of diving with East End Connection in July 2024. I was able to complete my Open Water Diver certification during the first few dives, thanks to my dive instructor Kevin, who handled my complicate scuba referral that spanned nearly 10 years 🙂 Kevin is a fun but firm instructor who made sure I had the necessary knowledge and skills to be safe. For the remainder of the week, we dove with Ben, a great dive master with amazing local knowledge to share -- both underwater and around the islands. He has a relaxed style, but was always alert, and he structured dives so that we slowly elevated to a safe depth towards the end of each dive to swim around and explore during our 3 minute safety stop. We also were delighted to have Handford as our skilled and helpful captain, getting us to all the great locations, watching for us as we surfaced, and assisting us in and out of the water. We learned about East End Connection through Camp Bay Resort's owner, Chris. The dive shop is a short drive from Camp Bay, on the Paya Bay Resort property, and had all the required equipment. I had never dove off a Panga dive boat, so it was fun to do the backroll entry. The team at Camp Bay and East End Connection were so welcoming and down to earth. When not serving as a dive instructor or giving Kitesurfing lessons, Kevin was in touch with the guests and the owner to make sure people were connected with fun activities, including suggesting local activities that made our trip even more memorable. We made great friendships and at the end of our week, it felt like leaving summer camp 🙂

New open dive shop near camp bay beach. New equipments and Chris the owner is easy to communicate with. We stayed at camp bay lodge and he organized the dive for me. The dive master is knowledgeable and diving in the area for ages. He cares about your safety and experience. Recommend this dive shop if you stay in the camp bay area.

We dove with East End Connection in June of 2024 for several days and had a wonderful time. At the time the dive shop had only been open a couple months so had no reviews, but it was such a great decision for us to dive with them. Communications with the owner (Chris) were easy, and it was simple to coordinate schedules. Ben was our dive master for all of our dives and he is fantastic. He gave us great instruction but a lot of freedom at the same time, and took us to fantastic dive sites. He pushed our abilities to make us better divers, but never made us uncomfortable, which was a perfect balance. He also frequently took my camera to get fantastic shots of us. One of the best parts is their rental gear is all brand new, as well as the compressor, and we could tell the air quality was better than we're used to. Our dive groups were very small, with it just being my wife and myself one of the days. The dive boat isn't the fanciest, but to us that was irrelevant as it safely got us to where we needed to go and this was the best diving experience we have ever had in terms of the service we received. We will definitely be back!

This was our first stay at Camp Bay Lodge, and we were thoroughly impressed. It was cozy and quiet and beautiful. Our room had so many nice touches ( I loved the shampoo and soap). We came to dive and Chris was an attentive host who helped us set up some great dives. Ben, the divemaster, is one of the best we have had the pleasure to dive with. Morat Wall and pigeon key dives are a must. Finally we also enjoyed the food and drinks, but it is also definitely worth the walk down the beach to La Sirena to dine with the hummingbirds. We will be back.

Beautiful diving! Ben was our dive master and he was incredibly knowledgeable and very kind. They are a boutique dive shop and we hope they get a lot more business soon.
